SERVICES
Evidence-based prenatal care
Regular check-ups serve to keep an eye on the child's development and the mother's health. They offer the opportunity to act in a timely manner when problems become apparent. Pregnancy is a time of constant development and change for mother and child. The purpose of prenatal check-ups is to carefully observe and document this development. If examination appointments are attended regularly, there is a good chance of identifying risks early and taking action if necessary. The maternity guidelines also stipulate that the pregnant woman and, if requested, her partner are informed about the test results and given advice if medically necessary or sensible measures are required.

As a midwife scientist with a doctorate in medicine, a master's degree in neonatology and a bachelor's degree in midwifery science, I have in-depth knowledge of research methods and evidence-based clinical reasoning.
